Dan Pearson
Dan Pearson leads Jrbound's International Programs Department in its role to monitor the effectiveness and fiscal credibility of Jrbound’s programs across Latin America, Asia and Africa. Dan travels extensively to support and evaluate Jrbound’s impact around the world. He has lived and worked in South America, Europe, and Western and South Asia. His areas of expertise include global development, disaster response and recovery, child development, social enterprise and microfinancing. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Melissa Velazquez
Melissa Velazquez serves as program director for Latin America. She provides leadership to teams working throughout the region and supports Jrbound’s international evaluation efforts. She has dedicated most of her career to creating frameworks for measuring program effectiveness, and she trains others on best evaluation practices. Her areas of expertise include program evaluation, education and child development, elder sponsorship, global development in Latin America and women’s empowerment. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Pritha Hariharan
Prior to assuming the role of chief of staff, Pritha Hariharan served as Jrbound’s international program director for Asia and Africa. Her areas of expertise include microfinancing and cash transfers, entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and global development in Africa and Asia. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu and Urdu.
